I am in love with the color combination of this bridesmaid holding an absolutely stunning flower bouquet. The shades of purples, greens, and soft blues bounce off of each other to create an image that is not only cohesively balanced but is aesthetically pleasing. I feel like I can smell the fresh aroma of the flowers through the photograph. The scattered textures of this bridesmaid’s flowers against the mint lace of her dress are perfectly offset by the purple tones of her hanging necklace. I just love the way it all comes together. This photo brings me back to this very special day where I was welcomed with true Southern charm to the absolutely breathtaking West Manor Estate.
There is nothing quite like being a West Manor Estate Wedding photographer! Located in the adorable town of Forest, Virginia, this wedding venue is everything you could dream of when it comes to all things Southern. Nestled between Lynchburg, Bedford, and Roanoke in central Virginia, the estate was established in 1823. For nearly 200 years, this place has radiated Southern culture while it’s guests enjoy cool breezes from Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
I like to think of West Manor Estate as Lynchburg’s best kept secret getaway. The estate itself is a soft juxtaposition between timeless architecture and truly breathtaking views of both serene mountains and open rural pastures. The West Manor Estate continues to receive ongoing recognition as “Central Virginia’s Best Wedding Venue” both by national press and town locals and when you step foot on it’s grounds, you won’t doubt why. Due to its' natural beauty, this venue is a wedding photographer's sanctuary. There are so many wedding amenities for the happy couple with bride and groom's suites, an out of this world conservatory, an expansive wedding ballroom, and a new glass atrium. This venue exudes elegance while still truly cherishing its' 19th century Southern roots.
